Our Website
This website, including the public countdown pages at countmein.space/c/, uses Google Analytics to count page views and to see which links bring people to us.
We do not use cookies. Analytics runs with storage turned off, so nothing is saved on your device and nothing is kept between visits. Each visit is counted on its own with a temporary identifier that is discarded when you leave. That means we can see that a page was viewed and roughly where the visit came from, but we cannot tell whether two visits were the same person, and we cannot recognise you on a later visit. This is why you are not asked to accept cookies.
We do not send the contents of a countdown to Google. A shared countdown link is unlisted, so the page address we report is shortened to remove the countdown identifier, and invite codes are never included.
Your browser also sends your IP address when it loads any page. Google Analytics anonymises it, and we do not store it ourselves.
